Tapfuma suffers disappointing defeat

Tapfuma, seeded second, had been a strong favourite to progress to the next round but he found the going tough. He said he is now focusing on the doubles as well and the next leg of the circuit scheduled to start next week. I had a bad day. I had a rough patch. I am just going to go out there and try to work on the stuff that I was not doing well in my singles’ match.
“I am now preparing for next week. I think the level of competition is good. Anyone can win it, you just have to put your mind and focus on it,” said Tapfuma.
