From Aaron Dube in Johannesburg
FORMER Highlanders winger Obadiah Tarumbwa has recovered from an ankle injury which he sustained two weeks ago in a friendly match against a lower division side.
Tarumbwa, who plays for Pretoria University, was signed this season and had a stint previously with sides from Belgium and Cyprus before returning home where he played for Bantu Rovers.
On Monday his team will take on Kaizer Chiefs at FNB Stadium in Johannesburg and three days later they will battle it out with Orlando Pirates at Orlando Stadium.
“I’m more than delighted to play the two biggest teams in one week. I’m ready for the two giants. We will approach these games without any respect. I owe the management a lot, these are the games in which I have to prove my worth and repay them.
“At the moment the mood is very high, each player wants to be fielded during those historic games. I haven’t scored since my arrival at the team at the beginning of the season. I want to break that duck when we play Amakhosi in their backyard,” said Tarumbwa.
AmaTuks thrashed Free State 3-1 at Tuks Stadium in Pretoria last Wednesday.
