A TAXI driver, accused of allegedly trying to charm a 15-year-old schoolgirl into having sex with him, was lured into a trap by the aunt of the minor who then bashed him inside her house.
The bashing was recorded on video.
The incident happened inside a house at Gokwe Centre.
The man and the schoolgirl first met when he ferried the teenager in his taxi.
The aunt claims she was the one who asked the taxi driver, who is well known in the area, to ferry the teenager and, in the process, gave him her cellphone number.
Everything was fine until the taxi driver started calling the schoolgirl and, on this occasion, according to the aunt, asked to come over to the house and see her.
The aunt claims the taxi driver was allegedly pestering the schoolgirl for sex.
She then laid a trap and told the schoolgirl to ask him to come into the house, while she hid behind the door.
When the taxi driver entered the house, she locked it and his ordeal, and humiliation, was just about to start.
After she had showered him with all kinds of insults, she then gave him two options — either to agree to be whipped or allow her to call the police and report what she termed to be an attempted rape on her teenage relative.
At some point, the taxi driver appears to apologise, even asking his tormentor if she has never erred before.
However, the aunt remained adamant that he had abused his position, as a grown-up man, and wanted to lure the teenage schoolgirl into some sexual activity.
She said there had to be a form of punishment and the choice was his —either the police or the humiliation of being bashed while being filmed.
He chose to be bashed.
He was asked to remove his jacket so that he could feel the pain that would come from the whipping.
He obliged to the request and removed his jacket.
And, the beating started.
All the time, the angry aunt kept shouting.
“Why are you abusing the little girl? I am giving you an option, either I beat you or I call the police,” she shouted.

“I will beat you here and if you want to retaliate, I will call the police.

“They hired his tax and he took their numbers before he started pestering the 15-year-old girl,” she says in the video.
The aunt added:
“We then planned to lure him, and when he entered, we closed the door.

“Next time mukatakura vana vadiki, munovachengetedza. Zviri nani kutaura kuti ndauya nevana.
“Hamuna mukadzi here.”
The man opted to be beaten while trying to explain.
“How do you know I wanted to rape her?
“Rovai henyu. Asi dai ndiri munhu wekuziva, munorova munhu wekuziva kudai here?
“Hakuna munhu asingakanganise.
“Gulez musadaro, muri munhu wekuziva.
“Paupenyu hamukanganisewo here?”
