A MT Darwin teacher ran berserk and allegedly killed his wife after accusing her of dating his friend.
After committing the crime, he posted his heinous act in a WhatsApp group explaining why he killed her.
The incident occurred in Rushinga.
Nyasha Muchembere attacked and allegedly killed Christine Bhaureni.
The incident has left the community in shock. Close sources said, Muchembere later handed over himself to the police.
Muchembere has been a teacher at Nyamatikiti Primary School and the School Development Committee chairperson for more than seven years.
“He killed her around 1 am on June 8, before he later surrendered himself to the police.
“After killing the wife, he posted what had happened in the WhatsApp group called Rushing Politics and Development achiti ndauraya mukadzi.
“He was claiming that he killed her nekuti anga achidanana neshamwari yake muzvinabhizimusi wemuRushinga,” said a source.
Another source said they couple were blessed with three children.
“The victim sought a peace order but the guy always violated it.
“Mukadzi aidzokera kupolice kunoita seek help but hapana any protection that she got.
“The day he killed his wife, the guy proceeded to call some of the colleagues of his wife threatening to kill them also.”
Another source told H-Metro:
“Since their marriage, the two had been clashing on issues of infidelity.
“Christine never enjoyed the marriage, she was being abused left, right and centre.
“They had three solid years vapanana gupuro in front of headman Gwangwava.
“She even got a peace order nenyaya dze abuse.”
