HWANGE-based Zifa Southern Region Division One League side, Technosphere have suddenly emerged in the Premier Soccer League ticket race with a convincing 3-0 drubbing of ZPC to move to second place.
They are now a big threat to Ntabazinduna, Plumtree Chiefs and Tsholotsho who have dominated the race from the beginning of the year.
Technosphere team secretary Mthulisi Ngwenya said that the team was trying their level best to achieve their objective of playing football giants in the Premier League.
“We are looking forward to getting into the Premier League and we hope that the boys continue playing good football to the end of the season,” said Ngwenya
Munyando Zulu put Technosphere in the lead in the early stages of the first half and scored his second goal in the second half and the final goal came from Reason Ndlovu.
In other matches Hwange Under-20 beat Nust 2-1 in Hwange in a match that Courage Sibanda and Winfred Munorwei scored the two goals.
Plumtree Chiefs now coached by Peter Manoti shared the spoils with New West City in a match that ended 2-2 while financially crippled Pretoria Portland Cement edged Black Boots 1-0.
