A TEENAGER from Mberengwa has been arrested for allegedly raping his employer’s 36-month-old daughter after evading police for the past three years. Marvelous Moyo, now 19, of Hlanganiso Village, under Chief Mapiravana who was working as a domestic worker for the alleged victim’s family, was arrested last week for the rape that allegedly took place in 2013.
Moyo, who allegedly committed the crime when he was 16, briefly appeared before Mberengwa resident magistrate Tayengwa Sangster on Tuesday facing one count of rape.
He was not asked to plead and was remanded in custody to May 10.
