Teenager dreams of empowering women

AMBITIOUS public speaker Shammah Ngadziore says she uses her voice to fight against gender-based violence and stopping child marriages.

The 16-year-old, who is a certified Youth Advocate and Public Speaking Coach at The School of Public Speaking, said it’s her dream to empower women.

“My dream is to empower young girls like me, and other youths, to work hard and take pride in themselves.

“I realised my passion for speaking at the school of public speaking in Sherwood.

“The youths must follow their dreams relentlessly and no matter how tough it gets,” she said.

Shammah is currently working on her book, which will be launched sometime this year.

“l don’t really have a passion for writing but for speaking, I figured writing a book would attract more youths who I might not be able to get to physically or on social media.

“The book is a call to all patriotic youths, with my mantra being ‘if you don’t do it, who will?'”

She is also a Mental Health Advocate.
