Telecel launches new bonus airtime

introduced last Friday in a new promotion dubbed the Mega Magic Promotion, which effectively extends the 100 percent bonus that customers obtain when using the one dollar Mega Juice card to all Telecel airtime scratch cards or vouchers.
As with the Mega Juice card, the bonus airtime is available for Telecel to Telecel calls once the main airtime balance has been used up. The bonus airtime is valid for between seven and 20 days, depending on the value of the scratch card or voucher.
The number of free SMSs, for texting other Telecel subscribers, varies according to the value of the card, ranging from six SMSs with the US$2 card to 60 SMSs with the US$20 card.
Telecel Zimbabwe marketing director Mr Octivius Kahiya said the promotion had been launched in response to requests from subscribers making use of the popular US$1 Mega Juice card, who asked why the Mega Juice bonus airtime could not be available on higher denomination cards.
“The Mega Magic Promotion answers this, by providing bonus airtime equivalent to the value of the card. That means, for instance, that a person using the $20 scratch card receives, in addition to $20.00 worth of cross net airtime, US$20 worth of bonus on net airtime, which can be used to call other Telecel subscribers when the US$20 cross net airtime is used up,” he said.
