Thank God, Ranga is home

FOR the last few weeks we have been running a front page campaign appealing for Zimbabwean businessman, Ranga Gova, to be returned to his home.

He was kidnapped last month in Centurion, Pretoria, where he is based.

On Monday evening, his family sent out a statement, according to South African media organisation, IOL, confirming his safe return.

“We are extremely happy to let everyone know that Ranga Gova is back home.

“We, as his family, would like to thank all the media outlets who helped spread the news, everyone who kept him in their prayers, and the effort of the SAPS.

“We are truly grateful and appreciate the support.

“At this moment, we would like to request some privacy as we try to deal with everything that has happened.”

It’s something which has cheered our spirits for the very small part we might have played in his safe return.

That is precisely what our job is all about.  Editor.
