CROONER Agga Nyabinde and his brother Albert have saluted fans, arts stakeholders and friends for comforting them after the death of their father.

Bob “Headmaster” Nyabinde succumbed to a stroke and diabetes and died last month aged 66.

In a joint statement, Agga and Albert were humbled by the love they got from various people.

“The Nyabinde family would like to express its utmost gratitude to all our friends, relatives, organisations, and acquaintances for standing by us in mourning and sending off our beloved father, Bob ‘The Headmaster’ Nyabinde.

“It is with a heavy heart that we reach out to express our deepest gratitude for the unwavering support and compassion you have shown our family during this challenging period.

“Your presence, kind words, and gestures have been a tremendous source of comfort as we come to terms with the loss of our father, Bob Nyabinde, who, as you know was a true music legend in our country,” reads part of the statement.

The siblings, who conceded it was hard to come to terms with the death of their father, revealed they have not accepted reality.

“Losing our father has been an indescribable experience, but the outpouring of love and support from our community has humbled us beyond words.

“Each expression of sympathy, every shoulder offered to lean on, and all the tributes that poured in were a testament to the extraordinary impact our father had on the lives of countless individuals.

“Our support enabled us as a family to navigate the difficult challenges that arise during these trying times with strength and resilience.

“Your willingness to extend a helping hand, lend an ear, and share stories of how our father touched your lives have all been invaluable treasures in our journey of healing.”

The siblings added:

“It is during such moments that we realise how truly blessed we are to be surrounded by such incredible individuals.

“As we embark on the difficult task of preserving our father’s musical legacy, we find solace in knowing that we have a supportive community behind us.

“We promise to carry forward his vision, inspiring others with his music and ensuring that his memory lives on forever.

“Once again, we express our profound gratitude for your unwavering support, love, and kindness during this painful time.”
