A GOOD Samaritan yesterday donated groceries to the woman who lost her truck, which she said was her only source of income, to a transporter.

Nyasha Mukuu, of KwaNyasha Zviriko, donated grocery to June Williams, who was humbled by the gesture.

Williams thanked H-Metro for highlighting her plight.

Mukuu said she was overwhelmed by emotions when she read Williams’ story.

“I was touched when I read the story of this woman duped by a transporter,” said Mukuu.

“I could see tears and it touched me considering that we are celebrating Women’s Month.

“It is my wish to see this woman doing an income-generating project making use of her God-given talent.”

Williams shed tears of joy after receiving the groceries, and thanked Nyasha for her kind gesture.
