THE Manatsa family has issued a heartfelt message, thanking everyone who came to support them after the death of their mother, Stella.

Gogo Manatsa died last week in her sleep and was given a decent burial, befitting her status.

Her son and family spokesperson, Green Manatsa, took to social media, where he thanked everyone for their support.

Gogo Manatsa’s death came as a blow to the family, which lost music icon, Zex Manatsa to cancer, early this year.

Below is the message posted by Green on behalf of the family:

“There are not enough words to fully express our heartfelt thanks for the sympathy, love and support everyone extended to our family during this period of the loss of our mother, Stella Manatsa, who passed away on the 30th of August 2022 and laid to rest on Friday 2 Sept 2022.

“Seeing people from all walks of life coming to mourn our mother, proved that she was, indeed, a people’s person.

“For the rest of our lives, we will never forget the love and support our family witnessed during the dark hour we lost her.”

He added:

“From the very bottom of our hearts, we would like to send out our heartfelt ‘thank you’ to everyone who came.

“A big thank you to ALL those whose names or organisations we have missed out.

“You are greatly appreciated.

“Once again, thank you so much to everyone.”

Prior to Green’s message, the Manatsa family shared another post:

“To our mother, Stella Manatsa thank you so much for being such a beautiful, strong and warm wife to our father who stood beside him throughout both your lives.

“And, for being the same to us, your sons, your daughters-in-law, and your grandchildren.

“Rest In Peace Mom.

“Sincerely Green, Aaron, Tendai, Freedom, Shingirai and Zex Jnr Taku Manatsa.”
