The school year starts now!

The first term of the year is always a bit of a strain for both parents (they should be probably feeling the effects of the “January disease”), and students as most of you are enrolling for secondary and primary education and there are a lot changes that take place during this period.

Some of you are probably feeling excited and maybe a little sad that the festive season is over. Some kids feel nervous or a little scared on the first day of school because of all the new things: New teachers, new friends, and maybe even a new school.

Luckily, these “new” worries only stick around for a little while.
And for those who sat for both Advanced and Ordinary Level examinations last year, this is the time it all gets difficult because of the anxiety, anticipation and enjoy the last moments of “home defending” before the results are out.

A great school year starts now and make a smooth transition to get yourself ready, back to school is also a time when you need to revisit strategies that help support you during the academic year.

Your books are your core business as such they should be a priority in your life, so if you had not, please do include getting your grades up on your New Year’s resolutions.
Wishing you all a great term and year, go ahead shine!
