The Uhuru Cup final between Dynamos and Highlanders may have ended in a goalless draw and a penalty shootout, but it will be remembered by many for the passion and love for football shown by the people of Mt Darwin and Zimbabwe at large.

The picture taken by Libertino captures the focus and expectations of the fans as they watched the game closely.

The match was one of the first Independence Day celebrations held outside of Harare and Bulawayo since independence.

The picture somehow highlights the dreams of young Zimbabweans who hope to break into professional football.

The match probably inspired some youngsters to dream of one day donning the blue and white of Dynamos or the black and white of Highlanders.
