Ngezi Platinum under-19 in four game unbeaten run

IT’S now four out of four for Ngezi Platinum Under-19 in the ZIFA Northern Region Division One League and midfielder, Tinashe Mashaireni is responsible for the spring in their step.

He scored in their 2-1 victory against Come Again on Saturday.

Mashaireni is just proving why he was recommended by the team’s senior side coach, Takesure Chiragwi, only to return to the developmental side after sustaining a groin injury.

He has been proving his worth by forcing his name on the scoresheet in the club’s past three fixtures.

Prior to the weekend win, he had banged in goals to humble Herentals and Harare City.

Kudakwashe Mangena scored the other goals to cap off their blistering start.

Kifton Kadurira’s men are enjoying a four-point lead at the top of the league table.

MWOS FC registered their first win at their Ngoni Stadium in Norton, moving them into fourth place on the log.

Golden Eagles recorded their second loss of the season after stumbling 1-2 against PAM FC.

Gilbert Mushangazhike’s men have managed six points out of a possible 12.

Herentals Uunder-20 are also yet to find their feet and are sitting in eighth place.

Title favourites, Harare City got the better of struggling Karoi United, who are second from the basement. Concession United are yet to rack a point as they have lost all their four fixtures.

They suffered a 0-4 thumping at the hands of Black Mambas. There was nothing to separate Commando Bullets and ZRP Harare FC, who settled for a 1-1 stalemate.
