SOUTH Africa-based gospel musician, Tafara Vandirai, says the world is turning into Sodom and Gomorrah.
The singer, who began his journey at a young age, believes the time has come for people to pay for the world to be saved.
“I am currently in Pretoria and what I am seeing signs that we need to be very close to God every time.
“My message is to encourage people to be close to their God and to depend on God no matter what challenges come in life.
“The world is turning into Sodom and Gomorrah and we need God to save us from sins which have been normalised by the people.
“And, my music is being received well with everyone who comes across my songs.
“Some of my songs are being used in churches to worship God.”
He added:
“I started music at a young age, writing songs and singing them and I then entered into the studio for my first eight-track album called Chengeta Moyo.
“In 2015, I did my second eight-track album, which is called Kufamba Nemi.
“In 2020 I went into the studio to record my single track Mwari Shandurai.
The following year he did his first live DVD recording.
“The challenges I am facing are to reach out to a lot of people and it’s because of limited resources and I am not getting the airplay which my songs deserve.
“I am praying to God to give me the sponsors and promoters so that this message reaches out to every part of the world.
“Before I started singing, I became a born again Christian.”
