Theft, domestic violence top in Harare courts

THEFT and domestic violence account for nearly half the number of cases handled in Harare according to the National Prosecuting Authority (NPAZ).

The cases were received in Harare, Mbare, Chitungwiza, Norton and Epworth.

Out of 6 800 cases, 1 828 are of theft and 1 521 are of domestic violence, while assault and robbery follow with 9 914 and 721 respectively.
