THREE Zifa provincial chairmen have retained their posts unopposed ahead of the elections this weekend while seven will face challenges to their reign.According to a list of candidates released by Zifa yesterday, Matabeleland North chairman Dennis Tshuma, his Matabeleland South and Manicaland counterparts Nkosilathi Ncube and Kuziwa Nyabeze will remain in charge of provincial football matters until 2018.

Tshuma had previously been rumoured to be eyeing a regional post but reportedly chickened out following the entry of heavyweights, Musa Mandaza ad Elliot Manduna.

Bulawayo provincial chairman Horace Ndubiwa whose tenure saw some professionalism in the  running of the league, will square off against one of the longest serving administrators, Washington Chimanda, while another long serving football servant Francis Ntuta goes in unopposed for the vice chairmanship post.

Ntuta is a former Bulawayo provincial chairman.
