Chisipite boys’ team amassed 536,5 points while St John’s College had 628 points for a total of 1 164,5 points.
The hosts Lomagundi A finished second with an overall total of 1 128,5 points.
Their boys team had 617 points to finish on top of their section while the girls side managed a fourth place finish with 511.5 points.
Kyle College accumulated a total of 1 052,5 points to finish in third position ahead of Peterhouse who had 913,5 points.
The same event saw Eaglesvale coming fifth with 876,5 points.
Mashonaland East’s Watershed College settled for a sixth place finish after getting 814,5 points.
Arundel girls team and Lomagundi B team were combined to finish on position seven with 809,5 points.
Gateway, who had a strong boys team, finished the tournament on 803 points.
Hellenic, who accumulated 651 points, occupied ninth position while the other Mashonaland West representative Chinhoyi High finished on position 10 with 480,5 points.
The Watershed College athletics coach S. Chizunzu was happy with the way the events were held.
“There was impressive participation by both senior and junior teams in the sprints and relay track events in the boys and girls categories.
“A good number of the athletes also did well in the field events.
“Forty-one of the seventy athletes qualified in first and second position proceeded to the NASH Marondera District trials at Peterhouse,” Chizunzu said.
