MUSIC producer and songwriter, Nyasha Timbe, has collaborated with Trevor Dongo in a love song titled, Song Yako.
The singer, who is behind several club bangers, dropped the song last week, much to the delight of fans.
He said the collaboration with Dongo was long overdue.
“It has been a while since we have been contemplating on a collaboration.
“ I am always open for his shows, we travel together especially performing wise.
“I also produced a couple of songs on his previous album.
“So, the fans have been saying why have we not done anything together,” he said.
Timbe said Dongo was excited with his project.
“He liked my idea, he then agreed to be part of the song where he wrote his verse and we recorded.
“It’s a love song, the response is great and we have also done a musical video.
“It’s one of the trending songs, the numbers are growing, something I did not expect.
“The inspiration behind the song is to bring back the good music that is timeless and to put emotions and quality to the song.
“We want something chinozorira for years to come,” he added.
Timbe has released songs like Ride or Die, Muridzi weMoyo, Wakasiyana neVamwe, Pretty Girl, Dai Waiziva and Iwe, among others
