FORMER Warriors defensive midfielder Tinashe Nengomasha says all is well at his South Africa’s Absa Premiership side Mpumalanga Black Aces. The team has done well since the start of the season.
Nengomasha was signed this season to beef up Aces’ midfield as they seek to finish the league in a respectable position. The Clive Barker coached side is on song as they drew 0-0 in their last league game against star-studded Mamelodi Sundowns last week at Lucas Moripe Stadium in Pretoria.
The former Black Aces player said: “I have been in the game for many years but being under the mentorship of the 1996 Africa Cup of Nations winning coach with Bafana Bafana is something else. Under him I have learnt many new things in the game”.
“He is not only a coach to us he is our father. The good thing about him is that he is not only concerned about us playing football he advises us even on our personal lives which we are thankful of.”
Barker is a motivator and disciplinarian who has vast experience in the South African game.
The Aces midfield maestro said his countryman Tendai Ndoro and Energy Murambadoro are enjoying good game time at the club.
Nengomasha’s troops will entertain Polokwane City in a league game at Mbombela Stadium next week.
