RISING sungura artist, Tindo Ngwazi, believes musicians should teach their children the business of music while they are still alive.
The pint-sized singer’s heart bleeds for most children of legends who start learning their trade after their parents’ departure.
To change the narrative, Tindo – the younger brother of Mark Ngwazi – has decided to empower his seven-year-old son musically.
He has since collaborated with him on the song titled Mwenje Wezuva off his latest album Charwadza.
“Most musicians’ children tend to follow their fathers’ footsteps after their deaths.
“As parents, we should be able to identify if our children are talented when it comes to music at an early age.
“For that reason, my first born always imitates me, that is why I decided to do a song featuring him because he is also good.”
Tindo started his musical journey with his brother Mark in 2015.
He went on to form The Adequate Sounds while his brother continued with the group Njanja Express.
Tindo released an album named Hapana Hapana, which was followed by his second project Tamirira Judgment.
It carried the popular track Mombe Dzemukaka, which topped the Radio Zimbabwe and National FM charts.
