France based Zimbabwe national soccer team forward Tino Kadewere has spoken about his current transfer value, revealing that it was now slightly below the US$12.5 million he was worth at former club Olympique Lyon.
Although Kadewere did not specify his actual value, popular football player valuation website Transfermarkt.com values him at €2,5 million (roughly US$3 million). Kadewere revealed this during a recent interview with Dj Ollah on his weekly podcast show.
“At the moment, after moving to Nantes, yati dzikeyi mbijana (the net worth reduced a little bit) because when I was at (Olympique) Lyon it used to be US$12.5m,” Kadewere said.
Kadewere recently made a permanent switch from French Ligue 1 giants Lyon to FC Nantes on a free transfer after a successful loan stint at the club. He penned a three year deal with Nantes set to run until June 2027 after his contract with Lyon expired on June 30, 2024.
Transfermarkt.com values Kadewere at €2,5 million, a huge drop compared to the €14 million value he had when he joined Olympique Lyon from Ligue 2 outfit Le Havre in 2020.
