Toddler found dead with nose, cheek cut off

 

A shocking and tragic incident has occurred in Filabusi, where an 8-week-old baby boy was found dead with severe mutilations, including his nose and right cheek being cut off.

The baby’s body was discovered on Africa Day at Ukuzwisisa Village, Marubamba area.
According to Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP), the mother had left the infant sleeping in a spare bedroom while she went to have breakfast in a kitchen hut.

The police are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the baby’s death and are appealing to anyone with information to come forward and report to the nearest police station.
