Gospel music lovers are in for a treat this weekend as various artistes will take part in a “Man On Call” International summit aimed at upgrading males in various aspects of life.
The conference, which was pre-recorded in line with Covid-19 regulations, will see influential speakers making presentations on a wide range of subjects that affect men in their daily lives.
The event, which was organised by Pastor Jefferson Muserera, will see gospel artistes such as Jonah Chivasa, Minister Michael Mahendere, Minister Ellard Cherai, Pastor G, Thembalami and Worshipper Larry Gunda taking part.
Speaking to The Herald Arts, Pastor Muserera said the summit was pre-recorded at their studio in Avondale and would be streamed on social media platforms tomorrow.
“Yes, we have got an event this weekend called the Man On Call Summit ,#MOCSUMMIT2021. Basically the conference is for men, but we are going to be flexible. It will also be open for women since we are going to have female artistes performing,” he said.”
“Women are also going to be blessed since we will also address issues that can benefit them. Fans need to just subscribe, follow or like our online platforms. The summit will be streamed on Facebook, YouTube and Instagram. There is not going to be any payment to watch this summit. Speakers like Bishop V Dhladhla, Pastor S Woloza, Pastor Will Phiri, Pastor K Sullivan Jnr, Nigel ‘NK’ Chanakira, Dr Ian Ndlovu and Arthur Marara are lined up to give presentations.”
Pastor Muserera said he had observed for quite some time women hosting events, while men do nothing to encourage eachanother.
“We have seen that for some time women have been united in doing various things, especially conferences and other stuff,” said Pastor Muserera.
“I launched a WhatsApp group in 2019 called ‘Man on Call’ and it started to grow through testimonies that were shared. We then decided to have another group for both men and women. Having developed these two groups, we then started inviting influential speakers, including musicians, business people, pastors among others.”

Pastor Muserera said they had been addressing issues such as marriages, finances, businesses and the spiritual life, although their foundation was to preach about with the kingdom of God.
“The idea was to bring all races and denominations together on this platform where we sharpen each other,” he said.
“It’s a platform where we develop each other. We have noticed that immorality is increasing, so it’s an opportunity to help one another.”
Pastor Muserera said a number of people had benefited from this initiative.
“We have testimonies about marriages that were about to collapse which were revived through this platform.
“This summit came as a result of prayer and fasting, and the Lord has directed me to individuals whom I approached and welcomed the proposal. We have decided to make it an annual event.”
Pastor Muserera’s dream is to reach out to every men in the world.
“Our main goal is grow our wings, we want to develop into an international conference. We have a vision to transform ourselves into ‘Man On Call’ international since we are thinking big,” he said.
“If we sharpen a man, we have sharpen the community as well the nation and the world at large. God has been good to us.”
