Mutape was advised to apply for bail at the High Court and is scheduled to return to court on 13 October.

According to Prosecutor Mr Lancelot Mutsokoti, the incident occurred on 19 July at around 1 pm.

The victim had gone to Rezende rank to get a commuter omnibus to take her to Marlborough when touts obstructed her from getting onto the vehicle she intended to board.

Mutape allegedly approached the girl under the guise of helping her and directed her to board a white commuter omnibus that was parked nearby.

The victim complied and sat alone on the back seat of the vehicle.
