ASSAULTING his wife over her newly done fancy hairstyle landed a Chikanga tout in trouble.
Appearing before Mutare magistrate, Mrs Annie Ndiraya, Raymond Guwira (26) of House Number 8647, Natview Park, Chikanga pleaded guilty to the charges of assaulting his wife, Privilege Hasha (20).
Guwira was fined $50 or risked going to prison for 30 days. The fine is to be paid on or before December 30.
Mr Brian Goto prosecuted.
The court heard that on November 30, Guwira who is a tout came home and found no one.
A neighbour told him that his wife had gone to have her hair done at Mbuya Dongo’s place in the same location.
“Guwira made a follow-up and indeed found her at Mbuya Dongo’s place having her hair done,” Mr Goto told the court.
This did not go down well with Guwira who started accusing Hasha of cheating on him using Mbuya Dongo’s place as the love nest.
