A NUMBER of people took their time on Easter Sunday to celebrate their birthdays at various places around the capital city.
H-Metro visited Lake Chivero, where a number of people were gathered, and some were boat cruising.
Among the April babies celebrating their birthdays was Rosemary Kusinira.

She turned 51.
“It is the death of Jesus Christ that brought us the forgiveness of our sins,” said Rosemary.
“Power and mystery of the Cross is when we were adopted to be daughters and sons of God through His blood.
“Today, I am celebrating my birthday and at the same time celebrating Jesus Christ since by his crucification, we were counted among daughters and sons of God.
“Ndakura, Mwari andichengeta uye ndave nevazukuruwo.
“By Jesus Christ’s wounds, I was healed.”
Another April baby, Catherine Soka, was at Lake Chivero, with her relatives and friends, celebrating her 42nd birthday.

“I want to thank my in-laws for arranging this party for me,” said Catherine.
“We are enjoying as a family, my children are happy so is my husband,” she said.

Another April baby, Stella Kufa, got the opportunity to celebrate her 54th birthday in Hatfield.
