From Oscar Rusenga in TRIANGLE
TRIANGLE have suspended Tawanda Muyendi and Daniel Kamunhenga ahead of their tie against Monomotapa tomorrow. The two have been flirting with danger for sometime.“All I can say is the two went through a disciplinary hearing, they always go AWOL and expect to be always in the starting 11 and that demoralises other players who work hard for places,” club chairman Lovemore Matikinyidze said.
Coach Gishon Ntini said while they were key players, rules have to be observed.
“They are two very special players and it’s very unfortunate that they are no longer part of our set-up,” said Ntini.
“Football is all about discipline and sometimes tough decisions have to be made, their behaviour was very disturbing to other players regardless of their quality.”
Triangle’s superb form have earned them five wins, five draws and one loss in their last eleven games.
“It will be war against Monoz considering that they will be playing in their backyard and fighting relegation,” said Ntini.
“We are not safe from relegation either and we hope to win the game.
“Mononotapa is a well balanced side with a very good coach, we drew our first game at Gibbo Stadium, but I am confident of a win away from home.”
