Tricky Afcon draw for Warriors

ZIMBABWE were this evening handed a tricky Afcon 2025 draw as they will face the Pharoahs and two Cosafa regional giants in the group stages of the finals.

The tournament takes place in Morocco from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026.

 

The Warriors qualified as the Group J second placed team to leaders Cameroon.

It will be tournament number six for Zimbabwe whose first appearance was in Tunisia in 2004.

 

The Marvelous Nakamba skippered side was drawn  in Group B and will face group favourites and multi winners Egypt and fellow Cosafa sides Angola and South Africa.
