Three men have appeared in court for allegedly assaulting their brother-in-law whom they accuse of cheating on their sister. Ephraim (49), Erick (40) and Augustine Muchedzi (33) were facing physical abuse charges when they appeared before Harare magistrate Mrs Nomsa Sabarauta. They will be back in court today. Allegations are that on December 12, 2013 at around 2am, Killian Museka (56) was at his house when the three arrived and told him that they wanted to resolve some domestic issues as they suspected he was having an extra-marital affair.

It is alleged that Museka told his in-laws that he wanted his marriage issues discussed with his wife’s aunt not with them. The court heard that an argument ensued between the three and Museka.

It is the State’s case that the three started assaulting Museka and poured buckets of water on him. This resulted in him sustaining a swollen face. It is alleged that after assaulting Museka, the three took their sister and went away.
