TRIO SALUTES BENEFACTOR

CONTEMPORARY rhumba artists Juntal, Lady Storm and Carlos Green have a lot of respect for showbiz benefactors and promoters who stood up for them during the tough Covid-19 lockdowns.

One of the people who stood in their corner is Ernest “Giant” Tagara.

Giant, who has released more than five singles just for fun, will be celebrating his 45th birthday today at LongCheng Plaza.

“Giant Tagarisa has been one of the most influential people in showbiz, who is always sportive to the creatives.

“During the Covid-19 era, he went out of his way and helped many people who needed his help.

“We came together with Lady Storm and Juntal to organise his birthday bash at The Yard on Thursday (today) where we want to give him his flowers while he is still alive.

“We are fed up with people who only appreciate good people when they are gone, instead of giving them flowers when we still have them,” said Green.

He added:

“It might be a mid-week party but those who know they were helped by Giant should come and celebrate with us.

“We don’t want people who don’t appreciate the good work our benefactors have been doing to us.”
