Trophy Touchdown! Schweinsteiger lands in Vic Falls with UEFA Gold

FOOTBALL fever gripped the Victoria Falls as the UEFA Champions League trophy made a grand entrance — and it didn’t come alone! Legendary German midfielder and World Cup winner Bastian Schweinsteiger jetted into Zimbabwe with the iconic silverware in tow, sparking wild scenes of excitement.
The Heineken Trophy Tour made its highly anticipated stop in Vic Falls, turning the tourist hotspot into a buzzing football carnival. Star-struck fans scrambled for selfies, autographs, and a chance to lay eyes (and hands!) on the cup that Europe’s elite have battled for.
The visit marks a major win for sports tourism in Zimbabwe, as the world’s eyes briefly zoom in on the majestic Falls.
And for a few lucky fans in Vic Falls, dreams came true — they got to meet a football king and see the crown.
