High-Flying Stoners Busted! ZRP Sniffs Out 70kg Dagga Haul at RG Airport

B-Metro Reporter
A MAJOR drug bust rocked the arrivals lounge this week as Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) pounced on two foreigners smuggling nearly 70kgs of ganja into the country — straight from Thailand with love!
The hapless duo tried to waltz through customs at Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport, but their luck ran out when officers flagged their suspiciously hefty luggage.
Inside? Not clothes, not souvenirs… but a stinking stash of skunky dagga crammed into four monarch suitcases like it was carry-on candy!
According to police, the breakdown of the green gold was mind blowing:
• 18.5kg in one bag
• 17kg in another
• 18.4kg in the third
• And 16kg rounding off the fourth
Total weight? A hazy 69.9kgs of trouble.
The suspects’ identities remain under wraps as investigations intensify. This was no ordinary travel itinerary.
“This is a serious offence and investigations are ongoing,” police said in a statement.
Looks like these sky-high smugglers are about to crash-land in Chikurubi, instead of checking in at a five-star hotel.
Watch this space — more smoke to come!
