A TRUCK driver has been accused of neglecting his kids for 13 years.
Now, his ex-lover is claiming US$300 for the upkeep of their two children.
Morlyne Chaputsira said Garikayi Muzanenhamo has never provided financial support for their children aged six and 13 years.
“He is a truck driver Your Worship, he also hustles when he is off duty.
“He is married with two other children.
“He has neither paid fees, nor bought a toy for any of our children,” said Morlyne.
Garikayi denied being a truck driver and offered to pay US$50 maintenance.
“I am not a truck driver but I just wash cars.
“She is gainfully employed and should also contribute towards our children’s upkeep.
“I cannot afford her claim.
“I am married and am also looking after my mum since my father passed away,” said Garikayi.
Magistrate Ayanda Dlamini ordered him to pay US$100 maintenance and directly pay fees to the school.
