Trumus Warriors hammer hapless Gunners

TRUMUS Warriors maintained their blistering start to the Zifa Mat North Division 2A League by hammering hapless new side Kasibo Gunners 8-0 in a one sided encounter at Chinotimba ground.

Clive Sibanda struck four times, while Lesley Mulenga hit a hat-trick and Mtabisi Dlodlo completed the rout.

Chipangano developmental side Hwange Reserves also kept thrashed Amagagasi 3-0 thanks to goals from Peter Mudziwepasi, Pardon Manyawule and Desire Sibanda.

Dete side Shumba Stars also maintained a bright start by beating DRC United 2-0 at Ngotsheni ground with goals from Govern Sikapila and Sydney Ndlovu.

Lukosi Pirates dismissed Nakuluba Warriors 3-1, with well taken goals by Joel Mpala, Tapfumiswa Musiwa and Fortune Ncube.

Kudakwashe Tichangwa scored the solitary goal, as Tenex edged Corithians 1-0.

Blackrock and Classic Luyando played out to a thrilling 2-2 draw at Sports Pavilion, with hosts Blackrock scoring through Pride Munkuli and Peter Chuma,

while Luyando responded through Constantine Mapfumo and Naboth Sibanda.

Ambitious Ingagula garnered their first win by silencing Hwange Railstars 2-0. Dion Nyoni and Austin Nsingo were on target.

Baobab Rovers’ poor continued when they lost 0-2 to Iwisa Sparrows. William Sibanda and Godknows Khumalo were on target for Sparrow.
