Nothing right about ‘gay rights’

“In the draft Constitution, we said marriage is between a man and a woman and those who want to marry another from the same sex, then they have a problem. Why do you want to sleep with another man?”

Prime Minister Tsvangirai also talked about devolution of power which is highlighted in the draft constitution.

“Devolution of power is not a Matabeleland fight but a national cause. For a very long time, they (Zanu-PF) thought the ones from Matabeleland were the only ones who were campaigning for devolution of power.

“We (MDC-T) say a devolved state is the one we want,” Prime Minister Tsvangirai said.
Last night’s meeting followed a similar one that was stopped by police after the MDC-T leadership failed to get clearance to hold it.

The meeting was meant to be the first of a series of such meetings dubbed “Town Hall Meetings”. MDC-T Harare provincial spokesperson Senator Obert Gutu however indicated that the meetings were ‘Yes Vote’ campaigns for the Draft Constitution.
