The new board will be chaired by Dr Nozipho Maraire, a world-renowned eye surgeon.
Education, Sport, Arts and Culture Minister David Coltart said in a statement that the new board had people from different backgrounds and was gender balanced, with personalities of merit. “As you can see the board’s structure is gender balanced, the number of male and females is equal at five apiece,” he said.
