The report said the seized weapons, including guns and hand grenades, were found in a populous district of the capital and the towns of Nabeul and Le Kef, adding that the weapons were smuggled into Tunisia by a group of radical Islamists.
In a related event, the Algerian army has destroyed a four- wheel drive vehicle transporting weapons from Libya and heading for the Tunisian border, Mosaique FM said, adding that at least two assailants were killed and some others injured in a fire exchange. — Xinhua.
