Tuskers out to redeem themselves

Online Reporter

HOSTS Tuskers will be expected to redeem their lost form when they clash with Rhinos in a Pro50 Championship match scheduled for Bulawayo Athletic Club (BAC) on Wednesday.

Tuskers have won once in four matches this season. They were beaten twice and the fourth was a draw.

The Bulawayo giants are at the bottom of the log with three points, trailing their Wednesday opponents, Rhinos by a point.

Rhinos are on four points with Eagles and Mega Market Mountaineers, with the net run rate separating the three teams.

The trio are one point adrift of log leaders Southern Rocks, who have five points and will face Eagles at Harare Sports Club.

Tuskers received a boost with the return of experienced fast bowler Ernest Masuku from injury. Masuku returned to the team in their previous Logan Cup encounter against Southern Rocks last week.

His last List A match was in November of last year against Eagles.

Wednesday’s match is set to start at 09:30 and is free of charge to all spectators.
