TALEN Vision’s feeder team — Filabusi Under-19 — which gained promotion into the Zifa Central Region and will be playing First Division football this year will now be known as Trukumb Mining FC.

“They will now be called Trukumb Mining FC because they will solely be sponsored by the mine hence the name change,” said Talen Vision’s acting spokesperson Juma Phiri.

Vision, who are now under the guidance of Mark Mathe, ended the 2019 Zifa Southern Region Division One season as first runners-up to eventual winners Bulawayo City.

This was after the former had argued that Bulawayo City used suspended players in some of their games thus the results for those particular matches were supposed to be  declared null and void by the football mother body — Zifa.

The Bulawayo City Council-owned team were adamant that they were the legitimate winners of the First Division league and will be playing Premiership football in the 2020 season.
