TV star now a church mouse

rumour

HOW the mighty have fallen.

Another former television star has bitten the dust. The actor, who used to grace our local television sets every Monday at around 9pm in the early to mid-2000s has been reduced to a church mouse.

He is now a familiar face along 1st Avenue, touting the Bulawayo-Gweru-Harare route.

The former star, who has visibly let himself go is almost unrecognisable in his new line of work.

Cut off from recent arts and entertainment, the highlight of his new career is squabbling with fellow touts over which vehicles to tout for. Possibly he hasn’t fallen too far from the character he used to play, a violent and enigmatic character.

In an unrelated incident, another former actor who was with a renowned local production company was the source of ridicule when his car recently broke down at his child’s school, where he had gone for visiting day.

The damage was irreversible, as the actor had to leave his car at the school.
