POLICE have arrested two men in connection with a murder case in Chikanga, Mutare, following the death of Ryan Zindi.
Dylan Mudia, 26, and Athell Mukondyo, 23, were taken into custody on 14 March 2025. According to the police, the two suspects allegedly assaulted Zindi with a hoe handle, accusing him of stealing car keys and a mobile phone.
After the assault, the victim lost consciousness, prompting the suspects to take him to the nearest police station. Zindi was transported to Victoria Chitepo Hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
The police said the suspects assaulted Zindi indiscriminately all over his body during the altercation. Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
