BRAVURA Zimbabwe, a pan-African lithium mining company, has reaffirmed its commitment to local employment and skills development, with 98 percent of its workforce comprising Zimbabweans.
The company, which is operating in Kamativi, Matabeleland North, has aligned itself with President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s vision of positioning Zimbabwe as a prime investment destination, emphasising partnerships that deliver mutual benefits for investors and communities.

As part of its human capital development strategy, Bravura has been absorbing graduate trainees and integrating them into its broader operations. This initiative is designed to equip young professionals with practical skills and experience, ensuring they contribute meaningfully to the mining sector and the national economy.

The company has urged residents of Matabeleland North to seize the opportunities presented by the Kamativi mining project.
Bravura’s approach reflects its commitment to responsible corporate practices, which include not only infrastructure development but also the empowerment of local communities.
The company has handed over six modern houses to families relocated to make way for the mining project, a move praised by government officials as a model for sustainable development.

Matabeleland North Provincial Affairs and Devolution Minister Richard Moyo commended Bravura for its efforts.
The company’s focus on local employment and skills development is expected to have a lasting impact on the region, fostering economic growth and reducing unemployment. By prioritising Zimbabwean talent and aligning with national development goals, Bravura is setting a benchmark for other investors looking to operate in the country.
