TWO men – Ayanda Nkomo, 26, and Will Jaricha, 28, from Beightbridge, have been fined US$150 each, or 120 days’ in prison, for sodomy.
The court heard that on Sunday, the two were drinking beer at Konka Night Club in Beitbridge.
At around 2340 hours, they left the night club and went to a nearby toilet while holding each other.
Two of the night club security personnel became suspicious and followed them.
They found the two men caressing and kissing each other.
Ayanda tried to flee the scene but he was caught by the guards who handed them over to the police.
Meanwhile, a 52-year-old inmate, who is serving at Mutare Farm Prison, was sentenced to a further 16 years’ imprisonment for indecent assault and aggravated indecent assault.
Sometime in November last year, the jailed man carressed the buttocks of another inmate.
He had already lowered the complainant’s trousers and underwear.
The accused person was arrested following another similar incident on January 3.
