Two men in court for murder

Court Reporter

TWO men yesterday appeared at the Harare magistrates’ court on allegations of fatally assaulting their friend during an altercation over a missing pair of shoes.

Kervin Dendera (31) and Arnold Shoriwa (38) were not asked to plead to the murder charges resulting from the death of Andrew Masauko of Kuwadzana 3 in Harare on Sunday when they appeared before Harare magistrate Mrs Judith Taruvinga.

She remanded them in custody to April 20.

Mrs Taruvinga told the two that only the High Court can consider a bail application for those on a murder charge.

Mrs Shambadzeni Fungura appeared for the State.
