Two Presidential Guard battalion defend title

Guard battalions.
The battalion won eight disciplines out of 12 that were contested for.

The battalion failed to win in soccer, netball, basketball and darts but excelled in athletics, volleyball, pool, chess, table tennis, tug-of-war and shooting.

The event had several sponsors who included Nyaradzo and Foundation Funeral Insurance. The army school of sports provided the umpires who showed good levels of professionalism.
