UAE Celebrates National Day in Zimbabwe

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) celebrated its 53nd National Day in Zimbabwe and highlighted the country’s interest to expand economic synergies with Zimbabwe.

The commemorations were held at a Harare hotel and were led by the UAE Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Dr Jassim AlQasimi.

Ambassador AlQasimi spoke about expanding economic cooperation between UAE and Zimbabwe.

Foreign Affairs and International Trade Minister, Professor Amon Murwira was the guest of honour and he said Zimbabwe is considering the proposed Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) to improve investment between the two countries.

The event brought together diplomats, Government officials, and members of the local Emirati community, all united in their pride for UAE’s achievements.
