The United Church of Christ in Zimbabwe(UCCZ) has installed Reverend John Matiza as the president replacing outgoing President Ephraim Ngadziore at Musirizwi conference centre.
Reverend Matiza becomes the seventh president since 1893 when the church was started in Zimbabwe.
Speaking during the event outgoing president Ngadziore said the new leadership will work according to the church constitution.
In his acceptance speech incoming president Reverend Matiza hailed his predecessor and all church members for trusting him to take the post.
