Laura Maposa

UNITED Kingdom-based Zimbabwean musician Russel “Juss Russ” Masakusa has just released a new single titled ‘The Journey,’ in which he collaborated with Abby Christ and Miranda Chidochase.

The gospel track is proving a hit on YouTube getting some decent views since its release on Monday.

The former hip-hop artist is now a born-again Christian and owns Mos Wan’ned Records Limited in the UK.

Masakusa said he is happy with the response the song is getting on media platforms.

“I am happy that I am back with another track The Journey which I collaborated with Abby Christ and Miranda Chidochashe.

“The song is doing well and I am grateful for the support I am getting back home. I produced the track and I am happy that most people back home are appreciating my work.

“As a former Hip Hop artist, I am grateful that I have found the Hand of God and I am now a born-again Christian who is singing songs of hope.

“I had a tough journey before I found Christ and I am happy that I am now into preaching the word of God through music.

“It was not an easy road but with God everything is possible and I am looking forward to continuing supporting the track,” said Masakusa.

The song’s video was shot and directed by NAMA award winner Simba Gee and UK-based Nigerian director Teknon of Strategik Vision Media.
